Technical Trainer – Unlocking a Growth Mindset
I am passionate about helping people discover their capacity to learn and grow. I am a content creator and trainer with the goal of creating ah-ha moments in learning. It is especially rewarding to see this in adult learners, who so often have self-imposed expectations and limitations.

No matter what someone’s age though, my favorite part about Learning & Development is when I see learners transition from I can’t to I can.
My mission is to inspire a growth mindset in learners and inspire them to feel comfortable, competent, and confident with mastering new concepts and procedures, and let that confidence create great results. I do this through creating the materials, learning experiences, and coaching required for learners to unlock their potential:
- Develop relationships with SMEs and research topics to develop curricula
- Author course materials, assessments, and documentation
- Foster an engaging, inclusive environment through classroom management, class activities, and individual coaching
- Improve courses through data-driven evaluation and iteration
I have been working in Silicon Valley since 2013 including in the fields of B2B Technology, Trust & Safety, and Customer Service. I’m drawn to jobs that encourage me to learn and synthesize knowledge to create clear and interesting content for my audience. I can then deliver training in-person or via video conferencing, with good results.

Recent Experience
- Worked with a training team and SMEs to create and deliver training for a new customer support call center in a major government initiative. In about three weeks, produced a two-week on-boarding course focused on systems training and support principles. Coursework materials included job aids and guides, class presentations, and group activities.
- Onboarded new content review agents for a well-known social media company, teaching them the foundational knowledge to moderate and protect users online. Also provided continuous training to maintain high team quality and supplemental materials when the client introduced new or revised guidelines.
Other Interests
When I’m not working or training you can find me in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’m an avid reader and love a good book club discussion, especially alongside a good mug of tea. You can also often find me with my fellow my storytellers and game designers, without whose joy, creativity, and community I wouldn’t be the creator and presenter I am today. On weekends you can find me out at the Bay itself volunteering with local environmental groups.
